Galloway Township

Sunset from marshlands

Galloway is Atlantic County’s fastest growing community. The town encompasses more than 111 square miles of the saltwater marshes from Reeds Bay to the miles of protected lands in the Pinelands Preservation Area. This placement offers Galloway unique and diverse areas to live, work, invest or visit.

Galloway Township has a rich history.  Its first inhabitants were Lenni-Lenape native Americans followed by European settlers, and the legend of the Jersey Devil originated in the Leeds Point section of Galloway.

Galloway serves as both a quiet community and gateway to Atlantic City. Its diverse landscape has something for everyone, whether it’s a wooded oasis, water views, a charismatic victorian or convenient condo. Galloway is home to great restaurants such as Celina’s, Athenian Garden, Gourmet Italian Cuisine, Orchids Cafe, Romanelli’s Garden Cafe, Pitney Pub, La Hacienda, Shea’s Cafe, and much more.
